The jobs in Jacksonville are a result of a contract expiring with global third party vendor Sitel Corp., which had outsourced a call center for Prudential’s life insurance segment in Madison, Wis., said Lisa Bennett, vice president of global communications at Prudential.
The company chose to move the positions to Jacksonville at its main office Downtown because there is already a life insurance call center at that location, she said. There are about 550 employees in total at the main office Downtown.
The positions will be for customer service representative, entry level positions. Prudential did not disclose the salaries being offered. Resumes can be submitted through the company’s Web site, www.prudential.com.
