A new poll commissioned by SayfieReview.com shows Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink and Attorney General Bill McCollum essentially even in a potential race for Governor in 2010 if Gov. Charlie Crist weren’t running. Crist is rumored to be seriously considering making a run for the U.S. Senate in 2010, instead of seeking re-election.
The survey of 625 Florida registered voters was conducted between March 30 and April 1 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percent.
The poll, which was conducted by Mason Dixon Polling & Research, shows more than two-thirds of respondents would at least consider voting for Crist for the Senate if he chooses to give up the governor’s mansion for a run at Washington.

Florida needs to keep its Republican-voting streak in state government. I trust they will do so (with the big exception, of course of voting for the horrific Barack Obama last year).
