Governor Charlie Crist said on Friday that he and fiance Carole Rome will tie the knot December 12 in St. Petersburg. The couple was engaged on July 3, having dated for less than a year.
Rumors that Governor Crist might be tapped by John McCain to serve as his Vice-Presidential running mate continue to be promoted, although less frequently than several months ago. Crist said he and his fiancee have not talked about the possibility of moving to Washington if he’s selected for the post.
