Did anyone watch the debate? As an undecided, I noticed that Angela answered exactly zero of the questions. Q1: Angela, you’ve mentioned that the police are your #1 client. What will you do if you need to prosecute a police officer? Angela: Did I tell you that the Sheriffs support me a lot. Q2: Angela, you had greater than a 20% overturn rate when at the SAO. What is different now, Angela: Did I tell you that the Sheriffs support me.
Ughh. Enough of the rhetoric. Give Plotkin his due. At least he answers the questions. He prosecutes at a higher rate than her, he ran the office, his overturn rate was much lower, and his client is apparently the people, not the police. Is there any more debate?

Jay was the only one who answered the questions and plus Angela made herself look like an idiot. Do you really want a state attorney who was fired from her job, has very nasty supporters, and has no clue how to run an office?? Any intelligent human being would recognize that Angela Corey is an ignorant, rude, and nasty human being. She has made it her top priority to patronize Jay and focus on everything he “can’t do” and not even focus on what she will actually do if she is elected. If you watch any of the debates you will find an interesting pattern. The only thing she ever talks about are her endorsements, endorsements, endorsements. She says quote “if you want to know why I should be the next State Attorney please ask sheriff Rutherford, sheriff Seagraves and sheriff Beasler and they will tell you”. Earth to Angela, why don’t YOU tell us why you should be the next state attorney instead of soliciting your “endorsements” for information. You hold up your dumb sheets of paper to get you through your debates where as your opponent actually takes time to answer! I do not feel safe walking these streets with Angela Corey as our next State Attorney, and neither should you!!!!

As a citizen of this community my entire life, I cannot believe anyone with any intelligence will vote for Ms. Corey. She was FIRED for not doing her job, she never answers questions during the debates and when asked what she would do as State Attorney she says she will look into it and will seek advice from others.
I am voting for JAY PLOTKIN, he is a tough prosecutor, great administrator and already knows how to run the office.
It is scary how Ms.Corey is in bed with tbe police. I want someone who will look at the law and apply it fairly.
Ms. Corey has a high overturned conviction rate….talk about wasting tax payers money! She has never run a budget. PLOTKIN has and has continued to run an efficient office with budget cuts.
Wake up Jacksonville. Don’t let scare tactics and politics rule your vote. Vote for an ethical, tough prosecutor, who believes in prevention.

So nice to see that the Plotkin supporters just found this blog. It’s obvious that Angela’s supporters (all three of them and their many aliases) hit it hard. Just saw that the Times-Union put its weight behind supporting Jay. The truth is now coming clearer and clearer! Get the word out, Jay has a plan, Angela has none. You think Jax has a high crime rate now, imagine if Angela wins and the few people that the Police actually arrest go free because she botched the trial. Scary stuff! Jay’s is 100% on high profile cases this year (I believe it’s 20 for 20). Can’t get better than that!

Wow, the Plotkin people are really out of touch….so far 320 to 49= 0.15%. Have you bothered to look at the top of the page? Have any of you kept up with current events? This past weekend a very unfortunate event happened where a man literally had his eyes cut out. The suspect was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon at the beginning of 2008. That should carry a 3 year minimum mandatory sentence. So Plotkin people, WHY WAS HE ABLE TO COMMIT THIS TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CRIME????? Humm….maybe because he was OUT OF JAIL!!!! SO, lets look at this ….The suspect was convicted of a FELONY prior to 2008, then charged with additional felonies (DRUG AND GUN CRIME)in the first quarter of 2008, and now this. Any intelligent human can see that the person who “can run a budget”, “has a plan”, “tough on crime?”

Plotkin has two commercials running:
1) Brags that he is a family man and he knows what families need.
2) A former SAO employee who had an affair with a senior, married ASA and now lives in Texas is the other. Munz and Dalton flew her in to bash Corey. Imagine that….a family man who has an adultress speaking for him.
Now that’s an all-time low! Guess they couldn’t find anyone in Florida to go on camera for HarryJay Plotkinstein.

As thousands of people delt with their homes and businesses flooding during Fay, certain politicians, Mrs. Brown and Mrs Lee, used the special phone number to the ECO and the Mayor’s Aid. So they call and ask for help and one, Mrs. Brown, got the response where not only she got sand bags but labor as well in protecting her home. While this is a great response by the budget strangled city it raises questions. The State Attorney’s Office should do their job to determine if this is public corruption. Really, when she was exposed she volunteered to pay for this “city service”. Wow, what is that phone number? Is it 630-CITY? Did any public buildings flood during this time? Were there any little ole ladies in Jacksonville that needed this service? Do you just swipe your Master Card on the prison transport truck? Well, Harry and Jay when will the corruption investigation begin? Out of the hundreds of thousands of voters that elected Mrs. Brown could she have found someone from the private sector to help her? Congratulations to Mrs. Lee for electing NOT to utilize this “service”, you have got my vote!!!Hey Mr. Mayor’s aid, a good steward of my money would have given good advice in this instance. Maybe you should find a new job in the private sector and not be responsible for my money.

Please don’t ask HarryJay Plotkinstein to check into corruption. They already cost us taxpayers a million dollars on the city council/sunshine law/grand jury debacle and no one got more than a slap on the wrist and some free publicity.
